Lets unite to bring Mugabe down -Mkonya

As our beloved brothers and sisters continue to suffer in Zimbabwe under the dictatorship of Robert Mugabe, it is our duty to blow the trumpets louder and reach a wider community. It is a shameful thing to think that Zimbabwe came out of the western colonial powers and is now in another colonial regime engineered by an old, heartless, brutal dictator, Robert Mugabe.
Recently, we witnessed the so called million man march when Mugabe forced defenseless, hungry people from the remote towns of Zimbabwe into state funded transport, to march in the capital city, Harare, for a loaf of bread. In his old mind, that is leadership but what he does not realize is that those who marched only fell into the trap because he had, like always, falsely promised them a free return journey and free food.
The whole idea behind the march was a desperate attempt to blindfold the international community of the reality and magnitude of damage he has caused in Zimbabwe and let them think he had majority of support as he prepared to make his way to Lisbon for the EU-African summit. Mugabe has long lost the majority support even of his fellow ZANU-PF members but he has survived by manipulating the constitution to suit his evil needs.
It is in our great interest to relieve our long suffered people of Zimbabwe, living in a country where the inflation has reached world records and human rights have been scraped. People in Zimbabwe today suffer new challenges in the country infested with unconstitutional activities and laws such as POSA, AIPPA are laws meant to legitimize the exploitation of innocent poor people's homes as happened during "Operation Murambatsvina" and the murder and severe thrashing of opposition figures and their leaders as happened with the beating of our President Morgan Tsvangirai, Deputy Secretary for International Relations Grace Kwinjeh and National Secretary for Research and Policy Mrs Sekai Holland and the death of Gift Tandare and many other murdered cadres such as Tichaona Chiminya, Tonderai Machiridza, Stephen Chasara etc.
I urge Zimbabweans living abroad to be united and fight for the freedom of our country. We should also be careful as we operate within nations that are infested with Mugabe’s right hand men (CIO’s) and realize the fact that they will always be there to disrupt, disintegrate and divide and undermine the operations of our MDC.
