One of Zimbabwe’s most beautiful women of our generation, Josephine Marume who has been voted as good-looking in Africa and Western Europe, has tied a knot.

Josephine is now Mrs Mushambwe.

She recently married a fellow Zimbabwean, Walter Mushambwe, a serving member in the British army.

The two lovebirds married in Britain’s Milton Keynes in a glamorous occasion witnessed by scores of friends and relatives.

From the wedding, the couple jetted into Buckinghamshire for a low key honeymoon.

Speaking in an interview after the honeymoon, the Zimbabwean beauty urged fellow young women to be positive about relationships.

“I believe it is important that women are submissive to their husbands for the sake of the success of any such a union,” the bubbling newly wed said.

“Getting married is one of the best things that can happen to a woman. It is an achievement because for someone to be married it involves making the right decisions for the right future,” she said.

“We are in love, it was good to be away together in a honeymoon. We spent three nights in a hotel together, just the two of us,” she added.

Josephine revealed that she still had ambitions to pursue the Miss World contests representing her native country Zimbabwe. “I will like my husband to be there in every contest. I want his support, but this career ambition depends on whether my husband will give a green light or not,” she said.

Mrs Mushambwe’s views will be welcomed by many married men following a recent report of an unprecedented collapse of African marriages in the UK due to women who have assumed a lot of power against their husbands.

Josephine has in the past been voted Miss Zimbabwe-UK and managed to be a second run-up in the Miss Africa contests last year in November in Ethiopia,” he said.
